THE END OF THE TOUR

Richard was a bully who insulted everyone around him. No wonder he was murdered! The question was, “Who did it?”  His sister-in-law who despised him? Someone he’d wronged in his past? Or, his trophy wife who had to beg for every penny?
A campy, cozy mystery written in the style of Dame Agatha Christie.

Amazon Reader Reviews:

"The End of the Tour is a clever little piece...." D. Nathan Hilliard

"Feisty, Clever, and Sassy! This is one charmed cozy short story that most everyone will find a character they can relate to, sympathize with, or want killed off. The End of the Tour comes highly recommended from this author with FIVE stars! For an entertaining lunch break read, or some evening time cuddled on the sofa with a glass of wine by the fire--this is the story to devour!" Cherri Galbiati, Author

"Driver has deftly woven a mystery chock full of dialogue and well crafted characters." Al Boudreau

"This is a great short story written in the style of Agatha Christie. There is first of all a gathering of people at an inn, a dinner, lots of conversation and one there is rude and nasty. Who wants to be around someone like that? Apparently one of the guests doesn't want to, and makes it permanent.

The police are called and one by one each person is interviewed and finally the case is solved for the murderer. I really loved the story and the way it is written. It does have many characteristics of an Agatha Christie mystery but the story and characters are the author's own. I would love to read more by Diana L. Driver if her stories or novels are going to be as enjoyable and good this short story. It didn't take me long to read it, and one reason is that I was very anxious to discover the outcome. I recommend this for anyone who likes mysteries or just for light reading." S. Warfield

Valentine's Day
gives the reader something that a lot of us are looking for. A sweetness of story, with poignancy running throughout. In some ways, this story reminded me of "The Gift of the Magi". It brings home to us, that giving something which is dear to you, to someone with a greater need, is its own gift to the heart.

I also like that this was a short story. I'm quite taken with them. And, for authors who can write them and not only get us inside the character's situation, but give us a story with a full novels impact, says a lot about their writing skills. This piece offers all things expected in romance writing, including a very delightful resolution.

This is an excellent "lunchbox" read, or just before bed. I chose to tuck myself in with this one, hoping to coax sweet dreams my way

NINTH LORD OF THE NIGHT

Action/Suspense/Romance
More Information about Ninth Lord of the Night

Think the Maya gods are dead and buried?
Think again.

Spine tingling action combines with breathtaking suspense in Driver's brilliant, YA adventure novel, Ninth Lord of the Night where, in less than eight hours, seventeen-year-old Zack Matthews goes from California, the land of fun and sun, to a darker, less inviting third world nation and his life is changed forever.

THE MAYA, PEOPLE OF THE MAIZE

Learn about the Maya, a brilliant and bloodthirsty culture, with ominous predictions about the end of the Fourth Age of Creation on December 21, 2012... The Maya created a civilization based on terror and human sacrifice and yet managed to excel in the arts, writing, mathematics, astronomy, and the building of temple structures that rival the Egyptian pyramids. However, by the time the Spanish arrived, most of the great Mayan cities had been abandoned and reclaimed by the jungle. Why did this happen? The Maya, People of the Maize is a brief guidebook for readers interested in an overall view of the intriguing and fascinating Mayan culture. It offers readers a basic understanding of ancient Mayan history, religion, and social structure. The Maya, People of the Maize includes examples of Mayan art, pictures and descriptions of Mayan temples, as well as translations of Mayan glyphs-- including the glyphs of the Mayan Long Count Calendar.
