Diana Driver was born in Cheyenne Wyoming and spent her childhood on Air Force bases around the world. She ended up in Austin, when her father retired and now lives in the Houston area with her husband and their cats. They have two grown daughters who live in California.

In the 70s and 80s she worked as a geophysicist in the field of oil and gas exploration, giving up her career to become a stay-at-home mom.

Diana Driver always loved to read, but it wasn't until her children left the nest that she tried her hand at writing. Soon, writing became a passion, too, and in 2007, her novel Ninth Lord of the Night was published by L&L Dreamspell.

The screen rights for Diana Driver's first novel, Ninth Lord of the Night have been optioned for film by MSG Productions.
 
Diana is now working on a nonfiction book about the Maya, titled "The Maya, People of the Maize" as well as The Stone Serpent, the sequel to Ninth Lord of the Night.
